Playa Blanca in Lanzarote is a great destination for a holiday all year round, there is the fabulous range of beaches which are accessed by a dirt road or water taxi at Papagayo and the resort also has some popular beaches within easy access in the resort, Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorada - all with fine golden sand. If you enjoy shopping then head to Marina Rubicón for some designer shops and great waterside relaxation. For a day out with a difference you can catch the ferry and island hop over to Fuerteventura, but make sure you explore Lanzarote first, the island can easily be covered in two days and normally split into a North and South tour. Lanzarote....have you been yet?
