GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY WE SHOULD LIVE IN CHICAGO LUXURY APARTMENTS? You can just hear me challenging my Dad when I was told we are going to live in Chicago. Dad’s company has just promoted him to an executive position. He has just been promoted. We are now talking about handling a big account in Chicago. So it’s settled, we are going to Chicago. We got hint of what’s coming because of all the meetings Dad’s been having with the company bosses. No doubt about it. Dad’s impressive track record, work attitude and accomplishment – there is nothing more that a company could ask. We didn’t expect that we would be moving out. We were jolted out of our revelrie. I have a life here already, I don’t want to go. I have lived here so long. I’ve got friends here, I’ve got classmates, I’ve got school going on. Nothing to worry about, Ive been told. Everythings taken care of. “Just pack your things and say goodbye to your friends”. I asked Dad why we have to live in Chicago luxury apartments. This is the first time we will be living in an apartment. We have lived all our lives in houses. We feared that apartments might not be for us. ”You will be surprised cause you will like it there”, Dad said to me.

I was not the only one who’s afraid of living in Chicago luxury apartments – even Mom. Even my Mom was a bit afraid of the whole apartment process. But she has accepted it good-naturedly because it’s for the good of us. The new position will set us good for life. Mom and Dad were right. I have to agree with them. It was I who’s thinking wrong.

With nothing else to take care, we packed our bags and set off to live in Chicago. The façade of the apartment building really looked so impressive. Rows and rows of Chicago luxury apartments. Right there and then, I knew that I was wrong. This sure proves to all that we are finally moving up. I smiled as I remember my thoughts about this. Everything a hotel can offer – doorman, concierge, lobby – is the here in our apartment. The apartment is actually much more bigger than our house. And it comes fully furnished too. Wow! I’m really beginning to love this place. This is the good life and I’m going to enjoy it.
