Advantages of renting a holiday villa
The worldwide recession has hit everybody quite hard and one of the things that keeps prevailing on peoples minds is the loss of their luxuries they previously enjoyed in favour of necessities due to tight budgets in spending.
Going on holiday is a questionable event as it is classed as a luxury if traveling away from your home country or even city. However, missing out on a holiday for even one year is kind of depressing because everyone needs a break, at least once a year from their familiar surroundings.
However, even in this economic and worldwide downturn, you can still go on holiday cheaply. You can of course stay at home and just relax in the house all day but I am talking about something more extravagant, maybe renting a holiday villa in Barbados.
I mean you travel the world and you stay in hotels, it’s nothing new. But how many people have you met that have actually said “I lived in a holiday villa”? I don’t think very many and therefore this would be an exciting opportunity not just for you but all your family as well as friends as you can rent small, medium or even larger villas. They would even end up costing less than a hotel because you would not have to pay for several rooms if you have a big family. So, not only would all the family be together in one place but they would enjoy themselves more because most villas are fully equipped with self catering facilities as well as entertainment, including television, wireless access to the internet, a laptop, etc. There are several companies that offer holiday villa rental services. But before renting a villa, you need to know the main advantage of renting a holiday villa as opposed to staying in a hotel. These are mentioned in the next few paragraphs.
The cost of staying in a hotel compared to staying in a villa would probably be less because in hotels you are charged by the night and in holiday villas you are generally charged by the week. If there are children involved you would need to rent a suite so compare prices and see which one is more suitable for you.
As mentioned previously, you have a private catering facility that includes all the necessities that you would need include a fridge and microwave. Something that you wouldn’t have in a hotel as they would have their own restaurant or dining area on the main floor or have some form of general facility for it. This means that you don’t have to wake up early and keep to the rigorous breakfast, lunch and meal timings of the hotel, you can wake up at your own time and eat when you want. You can purchase your own food so therefore keeping within your won budgets a lot more effectively without having to pay extortionate hotel prices.
A holiday villa means that you would have your own private pool so if you feel uncomfortable sharing with others, then you don’t need to worry about that anymore. You would even have you own sun loungers in some holiday villas.
Some villas have their own entertainment center, that you don’t have pay an additionally fee for to use. You don’t have to book them in advance, so just use them when you feel like it.
There are several reasons why you should rent a holiday villa as opposed to a hotel but it depends on your situation as well as where you are going.
